Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms govern the use of the TakeMe platform available at https://take-me.fr, which connects clients with digital freelancers (photographers, videographers, graphic designers, community managers) in the Béthune area and within a 30 km radius.

2. Acceptance

Use of TakeMe implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. The user must tick the acceptance checkbox at registration. A new version will be notified by email with a request to re-accept.

3. Registration and account

• Free registration, open to adult individuals and legal entities
• One unique email per account
• Strong password (minimum 8 characters, 1 uppercase, 1 digit)
• Email verification by OTP is mandatory

4. Roles

Two distinct roles (chosen at registration):

• Client: searches and contacts freelancers
• Freelance: creates a profile and receives mission requests

The role can be changed once after registration, upon request to support@take-me.fr.

5. Matching

• TakeMe does not participate in mission negotiation, execution or payment
• TakeMe is a pure matching service (hosting status under French LCEN art. 6)
• All financial transactions take place off-platform between client and freelance

6. Dynamic Meritocratic Score (SMD)

The SMD is an indicator automatically computed from:

• Average rating of received reviews
• Response rate to requests
• Response speed
• Completed missions

The SMD cannot be modified through payment. No sponsored promotion is offered.

7. User obligations

The user commits to:

• Providing accurate information
• Not impersonating others
• Not publishing unlawful, defamatory or infringing content
• Respecting other users (no harassment, insults, discrimination)
• Not attempting to bypass security measures

Any violation may result in account suspension or deletion without prior notice.

8. Moderation

• Built-in reporting system (profiles + messages)
• Moderation by the TakeMe team (FIFO queue)
• Decisions notified by email with reason

9. Reviews

• 1-5 star ratings + optional comment
• Post-moderation (published after validation)
• Right of reply for the freelance (1 reply per review)
• Reviews may only be deleted for legitimate reasons (defamation, off-topic, fake)

10. Account deletion

• The user may delete their account at any time via /settings
• 30-day grace period (account disabled but recoverable)
• After 30 days: definitive deletion (hard-delete) except data kept for legal obligations

11. Intellectual property

• TakeMe retains ownership of the platform, logo, editorial content
• The user retains ownership of content they publish (photos, portfolio, descriptions) and grants TakeMe a non-exclusive display license limited to the platform

12. Liability

• TakeMe provides a service "as is", without guarantee of result (volume of requests, quality of services)
• TakeMe is not liable for disputes between users (amicable resolution first, mediation possible)
• TakeMe is not liable for financial losses linked to off-platform transactions

14. Changes to the Terms

TakeMe reserves the right to modify the Terms. Notification by email + in-app banner. Continued use = tacit acceptance.

15. Governing law

French law applies. Competent court: jurisdiction of the registered office of TakeMe.
